The only service not included in this package is for your Local Property Expert to host viewings for you. This is an add-on which you can opt in for if you’d rather not host the viewings yourself.
Sites like Zillow, Trulia and Realtor are portals. Think of them like shop windows which showcase properties for sale. However, the general public cannot sell their property directly with those sites – you must go through an estate agent.
While we’re not a traditional agent, we fit that criteria. When you sell your home with Realestatelocity, we will automatically list it on all the major property websites that only agents can advertise on, so you get the best of both worlds.
Your Local Property Expert is on hand to help whenever you need them. They might be on the road helping other vendors like you, but if you don’t get through to them right away, they’ll be back to you as soon as they can. Alternatively, if you need to contact us at Realestatelocity Headquarters, you can do so from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday, and from 8am-5pm Saturday-Sunday.
We’ll market your property until it’s sold, but you would still have to pay for the package you ordered. Remember though, it’s much less than a Traditional Agent. We’ll do everything we can to help you sell your property quickly and efficiently. Since the average property sells with Realestatelocity in under a month, we don't think you'll have to worry about that one.
Not at all – we think the website is very easy to use, and your Local Property Expert is there to help as well. They’ll create your advert for you. All you need to do is keep an eye out for emails which will alert you to review your advert before it goes live, and any which will notify you of any viewing appointments or offers.
We aim to get your property listed on all the major property websites within 72 hours of you registering on Realestatelocity, depending on your availability.
We'll call you within 24 hours of you registering to arrange for one of our agents to come and view your property. We'll then list it the day after the viewing. If you'd rather set a specific date to list your property, we can do that too.
We will market your property on the biggest USA property portals, including Zillow, Trulia and Realtor. To make sure your property has exposure to a huge property audience, we’ll also advertise on the following websites and media outlets:
You are always in control of the sale of your property. If you decide not to sell while it's listed on Realestatelocity, we'll simply remove it from the property listings sites. Whether you select our ‘Pay Now’ or ‘Pay Later’ option, this will still be payable and we do not offer refunds if you decide to cancel your listing.
We know the laws for selling property are a bit different in Scotland, but our team has plenty of experience across the border. We also work closely with Scotland-based chartered surveyors DM Hall who are registered with all the major lenders. We offer a free valuation service which will be conducted by your Local Property Expert. Our valuations are completely objective since our fees are not based on a percentage of the sale price of your house, unlike many traditional estate agents. This means we can always offer honest valuations based on our extensive industry knowledge and experience.
Remember though, our recommendations are just that – recommendations. We will always list your home for sale at the price you set and are happy with.
Once you instruct Realestatelocity, your Local Property Expert will attend your property, take photos and details about the property, and draw up a floor plan. They will then create a professional advert for you, including a full and detailed description.
You can do that yourself, or, if you’d rather, your Local Property Expert is happy to host the viewings. We believe nobody knows your property like you do, from the practical basics to the little details – what the local schools are like, when does the garden get the sun, etc. Your Local Property Expert is on hand to help with tips and advice on how to conduct viewings and how to best present your property.
You will – unless you’d rather not have one. For Sale boards are a great way to let the local area know that your house is up for sale. Statistics show that around 80% of people move only nine roads away from their current home, so it's an area you shouldn't neglect. Your For Sale board will have our office contact details on, and we'll deliver and erect the board outside your property, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
We also know which areas are not allowed to have boards and your Local Property Expert will provide a window sticker or similar.
Both our Value and Premium services include photos and floor plans in the price, where our professional photographer will shoot your property and create a floor plan. We'll then add these to your property description for you.
We recommend you include both photos and a floor plan in your property details, as they will save people having to view your home to get an idea of what it looks like. Buyers spend 30% longer looking at properties with floor plans than without.
If you've ordered any other extras such as an Energy Performance Certificate, a Realestatelocity property manager will also take care of this at the same time.
A Realestatelocity property consultant will talk to buyers and negotiate to get the best price for your property. We'll advise on offers, and either accept or decline them depending on your decision. You're always in complete control of how much you want to accept for your home.
An Energy Performance Certificate (or EPC) is a legal requirement for everyone selling their home. An EPC is required once every ten years, unless you've made significant changes such as adding new insulation and replacing radiators.
If you're not sure whether you have a valid EPC, just give us a call on 0333 305 0202 and we'll check for you. If you have a valid EPC, we'll add it to your property details. If you don't have an EPC you can add it to your service.
Conveyancing refers to all the legal and administrative work involved in selling your land, property or home and transferring ownership from you to another person or party.
Conveyancing is a key part of selling your home and starts as soon as you accept an offer for your property and solicitor details have been exchanged between you and the buyer.
As part of the Realestatelocity service we work with Thomas Legal Group (TLG) to offer the smoothest, easiest sale for you. TLG offer a fixed fee for the entire conveyancing process (unlike traditional solicitors), which you don't pay until completion meaning we can get the best value conveyancing you'll find. As we work closely with TLG we ensure a faster, simpler transaction with automated updates and the ability to get started even before you've got an offer to make sure you have a head start once your property sells.
To sell your house you'll need someone to take care of the conveyancing.

You can also choose to use your own lawyer or conveyancing specialist if you prefer.
When you sell your property with Realestatelocity, you can choose to defer payment for our services until after you've sold your property, or chosen to remove it from sale, or it remains unsold after six months.
For all deferred payments, we use Pay4Later, a finance solution with 0% interest meaning you can list and sell your property using Realestatelocity and pay nothing until it's sold, with no interest or deposit to pay. It's quick, simple and free.
Traditional America's estate agents take their fees after the sale has been achieved, whereas many online property agents ask for payment up front. The online property agents that do take deferred payment tend to charge a premium for this service.
Realestatelocity is about getting the best of both worlds. We think you should be able to pay when you sell (as with traditional agents) but also don't think you should be charged extra for that privilege. That's why our prices stay the same whether you pay in advance or after you sell, and why we offer 0% finance via Pay4Later to achieve this. Once selected, simply complete the online finance application form, read and agree to the terms and conditions and if you're happy to proceed, select the Pay4Later payment button to send your application to Pay4Later for an instant decision.
It takes only a couple of minutes to complete your online Pay4Later application. Once you complete and submit it to Pay4Later, you'll get their decision in a few seconds in most cases. Sometimes we may need a little more information or clarification on something before you can proceed, in which case we'll email you.
With 0% finance on Realestatelocity, you don't have to pay anything up front before you list your property for sale. In fact you only need to pay when your property sells, your remove your property from Realestatelocity, or it remains unsold after six months on Realestatelocity.

Unfortunately, we aren't told why a customer is declined for finance. The final approval decision rests with the finance company rather than with Realestatelocity, but quite often declines are the result of entering incorrect information into the credit application form. Please check carefully that you enter all required information.
If your application has been deferred, don't panic! It just means we need a bit more information before a decision can be made on your application. As soon as we know what we need we'll email you, usually within 24 hours of your application.
